A really nice unusual 7 feet long English pine farmhouse table. The centre small drawer flanked by two long drawers have turned fruitwood knobs, the worn runners have been replaced. The four plank top with cleated ends form this well worn scrubbed top with its raised grain and knots, which you can see and feel when you run your hand over the surface. We have left the scrubbed top in its original condition but can wax and buff if required. Having the work and formal fliptop meant that the pine side would be used for every day use, and the mahogany coloured top would be for Sunday roasts and when formal need arises, could be described as shabby-chic? Its rare to find a large Cornish table, especially with the reversible top.
