A late 19th century mahogany gallery easel, the design emulates the classical architecture of old Delhi’s Medieval street archways, probably Anglo-Indian. The carved frame has five canvas adjustment holes for the two turned supports.
Mother of pearl stars and ebony dots are used for decoration, the centre fret consist of multiple olive wood turnings.
