A French farmhouse solid oak ladderback chair of the humblest form of French furniture. This robust solid oak chair has curved and bowed back rails with mortice and tenon joints, being secured by oak pegs, the rush seated drop-in seats, above the “H” stretcher lower frame. We fine sanded the frame before brush sealing the French oak, two or three times. No stain is used, just beeswaxed and buffed. Some tadpole figuring in the oak.
