A French provincial solid beech rush-seated chair. The shaped curved crest rail above two lower rails inserted into the curving stile, the whole being supported by a traditional box stretcher frame with swept front legs. Preparatory work, staining (using French stain), French polishing, cutting back and beeswaxing is done in our own workshops, so if you need that little bit of ageing on your chairs, we can do that.
PLEASE NOTE: Rush seats are a natural fibre and may vary slightly in colour tone. The below arm chairs have a slightly more bleached look, than the single chairs.
