Music Stools

Antique music stools or piano bench has remained virtually the same over the centuries, in its earliest form it was used to seat the musician at the spinet or pump organ. You can see one of the most popular antique music stools of the 19th century in the saloon bar Western movie. They were round, made of beech, walnut or mahogany, to raise or lower the seat you would simply rotate the seat clockwise or anti-clockwise.
The later 1930’s antique music stools are not as popular as the typical Victorian antique music stools. Duet antique music stools can be found at the end of the bed or in that country cottage, nestled in the bay window.
